1960s/2025 Fender/Partscaster Jaguar Electric Guitar
This is a partscaster Jaguar that Ancel put together for a friend of the shop. It's got an older body that's refinished to natural in '70s fashion and a '60s Fender neck fit to it. It's got a mix of proper vintage parts and relic'd/aged new ones. The Mastery bridge and whammy are excellent upgrades and it has a true-blue, vintage Wide Range pickup fit.
Ancel did a ton of work to get this one going and it turned-out beautifully. It's my favorite in this current batch of custom partsers made for this customer. The "only volume" control layout is a win and the Wide Range is warm-enough sounding that the "one pickup wonder" design doesn't get boring.
