1983 Schroetter Model 801 3/4 Violin
Overview: This is a good, simple, student-grade 3/4 violin that's better than what you'll find in the same price range new. It's German-made, well-built, and in good order. It has a clean, easy tone.
Interesting features: The medium-red varnish is a good look, especially with the "rubbed" edges that give contrast. It has an ebony fingerboard and pegs and a sandwiched, maple/ebony-insert bridge which helps with bridge stability. The one-piece, lightly-flamed back is a nice thing to have and gives a it a fancier look.
Repairs included: Manny gave the board a level/dress, adjusted the bridge and soundpost, restrung it, and set it up and gave it a quick cleaning. It's ready to serve!

Condition notes: I see no cracks and it's in good order overall with only minor usewear/scuffing/light scratching throughout. It looks respectable. The tailpiece is a newer fine-tuners one we added but the rest appears to be original to the instrument.
It comes with: It's actually got a good hard case and I think it may even have a student bow with it.
