1970s Univox Super-Fuzz Fuzz Pedal

Oh, yes, it's an original! These pedals are ridiculously-expensive these days but it's the history and the sound that cinch the deal. They have the sound and this one is working 100% and is ready to serve.

It has a big, delicious voice to it and the simple hi/lo tone control gives you "Who" or "Sabbath" EQ-band ranges for your fuzz to deploy in. The "balance" control is straightforward -- how much fuzz is added to the dry signal. The "expander" control seems to be somewhat of a gate to how much fuzziness you can achieve. You can get some pretty crazy spitting sort-of stuff going on if you're tweaking it.

I haven't had as much fun with a fuzz in the shop since I last had an EQD Dirt Transmitter hanging-around and this is a big upgrade over the sound of those -- and I adore those!

Suffice to say -- Japanese, all-original save the new battery, ready to go, and with light wear throughout.
