1981 Fender 75 75w 1x15" Tube Amp Combo
These old Fender 75s are powerhouse units and -- thankfully -- have master volume controls to tame that overall power to suit the situation. They're two-channel amps with a normal, straight-up Fender clean sound on one side and a driven, lead sound on the other. The clean side also has a ton of flexibility with push/bull band boosts on each EQ knob.
This one is in mostly good working order, though its original footswitch is not working properly. I found that using a normal 1-button footswitch will control the lead/clean channel switch part just fine but I couldn't get the reverb working at all. There's no residual spring noise so it's likely a problem on the receiver or pedal/switching input jack area that's causing a fuss. The "low power" switch appears to do nothing, but perhaps I didn't have it cranked high enough to hear a difference. There's one chassis bolt missing from the top of the amp and the amp itself is worn/beat-up. The back and insides of the amp are still dusty/musty.
Because there are a few features that aren't working, it's being sold as-is, though we know an excellent tech very close by (Dave Fenity, Tweed River Amplification) who can bring it up to spec, no problem!
