1983/2010s Fender/Partscaster Telecaster-Style Electric Guitar

Overview: This mixmash Tele got scooped-up by my friend Rob (for the time being) but, considering the stamps on the neck's heel, it appears to be a much-hacked '83 USA Fender Tele neck (of some sort) mated to a newer, relic'd body and fit with nice pickups, hardware, and wiring.

Interesting features: The light blue body against the red tortoise guard is a great look. The neck has a soft V shape that can be found on some of the USA Bullets that I've owned. The neck itself has a refinish over most of it and, completely bizarrely, it has a headstock that was sliced (along the wide part) and fit with a lamination in the center and glued back up. There's evidence of a headstock hairline crack on the back of the headstock so this appears to be some sort of reinforcement -- and it works. Totally odd!

Repairs included: It got a level/dress of the frets, setup work, and other minor adjustments. It's playing spot-on.
