2021 Kamaka HF-3 Deluxe Koa Tenor Ukulele
Overview: It's not hard to see that this Deluxe uke really is up the food chain for Kamaka. The owner bought this directly from the company in 2022 and it has 2021 serialization as far as I can tell. It's super clean and also super gorgeous with its flamed koa throughout the body and retro rope-style binding/purfling used throughout. The sound is there, too, with its sweet, clean, and bell-like Kamaka thing going on with just a hint of chimey air in the top of the voice. I like!
Interesting features: The rope purfling is, of course, the main draw aside from that very-pretty koa used throughout. The board and bridge are also both ebony and it has quite-fancy tuners at the slotted, retro-styled headstock. It's built to a very high spec.
Repairs included: I just needed to give it a quick setup and it's playing spot-on and ready to go.
