2010s Suhr Classic S Strat-Style Electric Guitar

Overview: Suhrs make great stage guitars -- they're practical, great-playing, workhorse-type instruments. I see them a bit like the Taylor of electrics as they have design upgrades compared to vintage instruments but much of the same appeal and they're built precisely and to a high spec. This one was originally sold through Humbucker Music and is probably 5-10 years old. It has serial number 68784. It's got a little pickwear on the pickguard and minor signs of use in the finish here and there but is otherwise very clean -- the sort of stuff you expect to see on a "shopworn" instrument rather than the gigged-and-loved guitar it actually is.

Interesting features: It's got an HSS (or, for folks with my vintage brain, SSH) pickup configuration, two-point whammy, roasted maple neck, and a killer color scheme. Who doesn't like Ocean Turquoise Metallic set against a red tortoise pickguard? I used to have an '80s US Strat with much the same look and it always got engagement from the crowd when I took it out. It has "aged green" pickup covers and knobs and the "raw nickel" bridge pickup cover has antiqued itself nicely along the way.

Repairs included: I'd set this up a year or two ago and when it came back in it was still playing spot-on, so all I had to do was wipe it down and put it in the racks for sale. It's ready to go.
