2010s Warmoth Partscaster Strat-Style Electric Guitar

Overview: This cute partscaster has been on and off hold for local folks a couple times until folks realize the rent is due! Oh, world, how cursed you are. It's a Stratty guitar with a vintage-style whammy and a pair of buckers -- mini in the neck and FilterTron-style in the bridge -- and boasts a super-flamed-maple neck and ash body in butterscotch-transparent. Both the neck and body are Warmoth-made.

Interesting features: The hardware is all good-quality throughout. I don't know the brand of the neck mini-humbucker but the bridge pickup is a GFS FilterTron-style bucker. It has a good, brighter-bucker, rawk sound to it and it pushes an amp nicely but not overwhelmingly. The cuts for the pickups in the pickguard are a little amateur and it's got a hole where a second tone control might be, but overall it's got a good look and presence.

Repairs included: As I recall, Sarah gave it a setup and light level/dress of the frets and between Ancel and myself the wiring harness got rewired as it was really mucked-up when it came in. It's playing spot-on and ready to serve.

Condition notes: There's finish rubbed-off at the side of the heel. There are two filled string-tree holes (where broken screws are) at the headstock. The pickup cut for the bridge pickup is amateur. There's a non-filled hole for a control at the pickguard. Aside from these wear areas, it's strangely-clean otherwise. It only played-in a bit.

It comes with: Sorry, no case -- though if I have a spare gigbag I will include it.
