2020s Hofner Club Ignition Series Hollowbody Electric Bass Guitar
Overview: This is an inexpensive, nice-playing (after a good setup), good-sounding take on the classic, expensive, Hofner Club bass from the '60s. It's lightweight and the tuxedo finish is snazzy-looking. I'm not sure of the year as the serialization for Ignition instruments appears meaningless, but I would guess it's from the last 5-10.
Interesting features: The owner installed a zero fret, curiously! This brings it more in line with the construction of the originals and this must have been his thinking. It does keep the tone more even from open strings to fretted ones. The controls on these are a little curious. There are on/off switches for the two pickups and then a solo/rhythm switch -- which serves to "wide open" the tone in solo mode and dampen it in rhythm.
Repairs included: I gave it a setup and it's playing spot-on and ready to go.

Condition notes: It's in good shape overall, though it does show medium usewear in the finish. There's some scuzz on the back of the headstock from where the origin sticker would have been. Someone had put adhesive on the bridge feet in the past and it mucked-up the finish in front of them, though I did try to scrub it off as much as I could.
It comes with: This has a simple gigbag.
