2020s Partscaster Precision Bass Electric Bass Guitar

Overview: This guy is a partscaster made-up from a recent-memory Fender body, Mighty Mite neck with synthetic fretless fingerboard, nice Hipshot tuners, Lawrence pickups, and good hardware. The pickguard is clear acrylic and the fella who put it together put cut-paper behind it for an interesting, eye-catching look. It's clean and appears to have been only lightly-played.

Interesting features: The Hipshot hardware at the headstock is a huge win for me and the Lawrence pickups sound both old-fashioned and modern. It had originally been wired with a push-pull for the pickups but the rat's nest of wires was not working, so I wired it up as a standard volume/tone circuit like you'd expect from a P and with a fresh harness -- 500k pots, a 22 orange drop cap, and a new Switchcraft jack.

Repairs included: Ancel gave it a setup and I rewired it. It's playing spot-on and ready to go!
