1938 Strad-O-Lin Jr Archtop A-Style Mandolin
Overview: The date stamp is very muddied inside, but it appears to have a 1938 stamp to my eyes and that makes sense for the style of the instrument. This Stradolin is on the earlier side for the brand and originally came-in with a non-adjustable bridge -- something you only see on the earlier guys. It's also got a quirky headstock shape and has a very simple stencil style script for the headstock. It's quite clean for its age and looks crisp and smart. As per the usual, it's got a good, solid, midsy voice that cuts pretty well in small group sessions. There's a reason Strads are popular for budding 'grassers!
Repairs included: Max went through this one and gave it a level/dress of the frets, fit a slightly-later adjustable Strad bridge to it, and set it up.

Condition notes: It's mostly all-original throughout, though we've added side dots and replaced the original (non-adjustable) bridge with a '40s Strad bridge with adjusters (and compensated it). There are small scratches and nicks here and there in the finish but overall it looks excellent for its age.
It comes with: I believe it has a funky old chip case.
