1960s Silvertone 1415 (Danelectro U-1) Semihollow Electric Guitar

This is a customer's old Danelectro U-1 but in Silvertone branding. I forgot to snap a picture of the date stamp (or lost it!) but, as I recall, this one was either a '59 or '60. It only needed "the usual stuff" -- a level/dress of the frets with some heavier-handed work at the fretboard extension and general setup and saddle compensation stuff.

As you all may know, I'm a big Danelectro fan and so a pretty, copper over cream guitar like this hits the spot. The neck is rather quick on this guy, too, and for folks who like to play their electrics like their acoustics for strum-n-fun backing work, these guitars are ideal as far as pickup sound goes. They'll also go crazy-ratty-bluesy if you push an amp with one, too.
