1970 Harmony H927 Stella Rubber-Bridge Electrified Parlor Guitar
Overview: This is another cool Stella H927 parlor in natural with the '70s-style, batwing pickguard that looks so great on them. Ancel fixed it up and modified it into a rubber-bridge, electrified guitar and it's ready for the stage or recording exploits! These are endearing, cozy little guitars when they're fixed-up and playing correctly and the rubber bridge element just adds so much to their usefulness in a studio environment. I always keep a rubber-bridger handy myself, these days.
Repairs included: It got a neck reset, fret level/dress, side dots fit, new custom bridge (with adjuster posts and rubber saddle for easy adjustments), and a Strat-style Alnico pickup and wiring harness fit. We often use lipstick pickups but I like the bright, snappy, sound of Strat-style pickups on these a lot, too. It's playing spot-on and ready to go. It currently has a set of normal, electric 46w-10 strings on it but it will intonate correctly with heavier gauges, too, and wound-G sets.
