1970s Harmony H8025 Batwing Archtop Mandolin
Overview: These old Harmony Batwing mandolins are on the rarer side. This one arrived in decent shape but needed some tweaks to pay its best. It's now a good player and has a poppy, woody, direct sort-of sound. The neck is fast and has a lot of fret access and the looks are bold and up-front.
Repairs included: Tim repaired some open seams at the headstock "wings" and fit a new set of tuners with custom screw-mount spacing to insure the stability of the headstock wings in the future. I think Sarah gave it a level/dress of the frets. It then got some adjustments and a good setup and is playing bang-on and ready to go.
