1971 Guild F30 000-Size Guitar
Overview: This is definitely a player's grade old F-30. It's been played a ton and, by the looks of it, has been all over the place making music, though not in an abused way. It has a good, even, balanced sound and the usual, sturdy, workmanly build quality '70s Guilds are known for. We did some fresh work to it and it had a number of things done by other folks over the years, too.
Repairs included: We gave it a neck reset, level/dress of the frets, new bone saddle, cleats for some non-cleated hairline crack repairs, cleaning, and setup work. Previously, some cracks had been fixed and someone installed a Bridge Doctor that we left in. This is a device that counteracts belly and twist in lightly-braced tops and, as it sounds good with it in it, and these '70s Guilds tend to get belly in their tops, we just left it in. It's playing spot-on and has plenty of saddle height for future adjustments.

Condition notes: It has repaired hairline cracks on the top (they're stable and good to go) and a repaired hairline crack on the sides at the endblock (also good to go). The endblock itself is not cracked. There's pickwear at the soundhole and some chemical dot-drop-style finish damage on the back. There's some weather-checking throughout the guitar, too, and nicks, scratches, and dings here and there throughout. The bridge pins and saddle are non-original. Someone installed a K&K Pure Mini pickup in it and it's sounding good plugged-in!
It comes with: It at least has a chip case up there in the storage room.
