1920s Paramount (Lange) Leader Resonator Tenor Banjo
Overview: Paramoun Leaders are slick banjos. They've got the usual Paramount bling, big old archtop tonering, good looks, but also boast 2-piece, Brazilian rosewood necks. This is a loud, proud, up-front banjo that cuts nicely. It handles quick and easy and has that pro-feeling, Lange thing going on. In addition, it's still got its original armrest and geared tuners.
Repairs included: Max gave it a level/dress of the frets. Tim replaced some missing inlay and repaired some resonator damage. I did some cosmetic repairs and cleaned it up a bit and then set it up. It's playing spot-on and ready to serve!

Condition notes: This banjo has had a bit of a hard life but we've cleaned it all up. About 2/3 of the rim's binding on the back edge was missing with some jagged edges and, after the rim was reglued, I filled it and then cleaned-up the edge as best as possible. It's workmanly but not obvious at a glance. There are numerous scratches, nicks, small dings, etc. throughout the finish. There are a few partially-replaced inlays in the fretboard. The head and bridge are non-original but the rest is.
It comes with: As I recall, this has a decent case.
