1966 Harmony H929 Stella Parlor Guitar

Overview: This is a typical old Stella H929 model -- sunburst, small body, shorter 24 1/8" scale, and "everyone's first guitar" back in the day. They usually play like garbage, but we put time into them to make them play their best and -- surprise! -- once you do that they're fun, woody-sounding, folksy guitars. I like them a lot as fingerpickers but flatpickers will find that they have a nice snap to them.

Repairs included: This guy got a neck reset, fret level/dress, side dots added, a new bridge fit, and, as I recall, a few brace and seam repairs. I think Ancel did all the work on this one. It's playing spot-on and ready to go!

Condition notes: It's rather on the cleaner side for an old H929 and, while it shows some wear and tear throughout via small scratches here and there and some tarnish on the hardware, it's overall looking good. The bridge is a new replacement that Ancel made but it's otherwise all-original.

It comes with: Sorry, no case.
