1979 Deering Deluxe 5-String Resonator Banjo
Overview: When this got dropped-off, I thought it was a well-traveled '90s instrument. I had no idea it was a first-year version of the Deluxe model from '79. It explains the "player grunge" that was on this when it arrived, though. It's been a one-owner instrument and well-loved by that owner for decades! Max spent some good time (or GoodtimeTM?) cleaning it up and getting it ready to roll, and now it's quite a bluegrass player's instrument with tons of volume, a flathead-like tonering, and a rugged, functional build with trim looks.
Repairs included: It got a level/dress of the frets, lots of cleaning, and setup work. It's playing spot-on and ready to go.

Condition notes: It's completely original throughout save for strap buttons fit at the heel and near the tailpiece at the resonator. There's wear and tear to the plating on the hardware, playwear visible on the head, and some wear in the fingerboard, too, that's light but visible. I compensated the bridge during setup.
It comes with: It has its original hard case which is in alright shape but definitely used.
