1985 Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop Purple Burst Electric Guitar

 

This oddball as just in for a level/dress of the frets and a setup -- which Sarah did. It's a striking guitar in-person and its purple-burst finish feels at home on the stairs! It's very much of its time, though its big and bold sound is more '60s-inspired than metal-ready.

It has a comfy neck, decent weight, and smart, retro looks. Aside from one knob, it's completely original, too. The owner told me there are only 50 of this particular model out in the world.
