2010s Collings MF-5 Carved-Top Mandolin

Overview: Who doesn't love a good Collings? When reaching-into-pro mandolin players ask me what mandolin to get and they're into bluegrass sounds, I almost always suggest taking a look at Collings instruments. They're reliably excellent-sounding, built with extreme attention to detail, and have a great, vintage-meets-modern feel in the neck and body. The lines are crisp and clean and they're definitely a "prestige" instrument to own. This one came via consignment as the owner is now deep in his mandolin-pile and needs to dig out! It's been played but is in good shape overall and sounds a treat. The birdseye maple one-piece back and matching sides are gorgeous, too!

Repairs included: This recently got a level/dress of the frets and setup through the shop and it's playing bang-on and ready to go.
