2010s Eastman MD-505 Carved-Top A-Style Mandolin

Overview: This is a good, practical, choppy, bluegrass-sounding instrument. It has good bite and snap and you can definitely hear it in a jam. The finish style reminds me of old violin-style colors and it has an attractive, minimalistic style about it. There's a reason these MD505s are popular in the market -- they do the thing and they do it at a good price-point for carved instrument.

Repairs included: Sarah gave it a level/dress of the frets and Max set it up. I had to reseat the tailpiece a bit as the current owner replaced the original with this one -- which is better-quality and more rugged. It's playing bang-on and ready to serve.
