2020s Gretsch Boxcar Resonator Guitar
Overview: This is a basic, no-frills, but well-made, resonator guitar. It has the body cut, looks, and much of the handling of the '30s Dobro-cone Gretsch model resonators that they emulate. The build quality is better (heh heh), however, right out of the gate. The owner has upgraded the cone to a Beard one and, after some fussing from me, it's now quite a nice little player and has a sound that hits way above its pay grade.
Repairs included: I leveled/dressed the frets, seated the cone a bit, compensated the saddles, and set it up. It's playing spot-on and ready to go.
