1910s Gibson F-2 Carved-Top Mandolin

Sometimes I forget to port-over "quick posts" from Instagram to the blog. This is a teens-era Gibson F-2 that Max got to work on a while back while the customer waited -- just some light fretwork and setup duty, but it sure helped bring the instrument up to its potential.

You know, though, isn't it a stunner? Every time we have one of these in, I get lost in mild desire for all of those curves and points! This example also has Handel tuners with their lovely, inlaid buttons. The bridge is swapped to an adjustable one (thankee, gods) but the rest all appears original.
