1946 Epiphone Blackstone Modified Hollowbody Archtop Electric Guitar

Overview: This started-out as a normal, carved-top, non-electric Epiphone Blackstone. At some point in the more-recent past, someone cut it to fit a pair of P90s and installed those, a Gibson-style, wiring harness, new tuners, and an ABR-style adjustable bridge. While this has damped the acoustic sound a bit, the upside is that this thing now makes a terrific plugged-in rockabilly or jazzbox and the old-style, retro Epiphone neck is pretty cozy and quick.

Repairs included: Max gave this a level/dress of the frets, some extra risers added to the pickups, and setup work. I just added a ground wire to the tailpiece. There are some older top crack repairs not done by us (but still pat) and some finish touch-up work that was done in the past as well. It's playing spot-on and ready to go!

Condition notes: There's weather-check to the finish and light scratching, scuffs, nicks, and dings throughout. The pickguard is missing. A jackplate was added at the side.
