1961 Epiphone E422T Century Hollowbody Electric Guitar
Overview: This guy was made with a mix of original Epiphone-factory parts (the neck, pickup, and knobs) and fresh '61 Gibson-factory parts (the body, bridge, tailpiece, and other hardware). Gibson had bought-up Epiphone in the late '50s after the firm went out of business and used parts from the old factory until they ran out and that's why this Century, despite being mostly a Gibson product, has a mix of gear fit to it. The coolest is the "New York" pickup which sounds fantastic -- especially for clean, clear, retro jazz sounds. In addition, this guitar is acoustically loud, too, so you can hang in a jam nicely with your friends without an amp or easily work on tunes after you've unplugged.
Repairs included: I gave it a neck reset and Max gave it a fret level/dress, minor cleaning, and setup work. It's playing spot-on and ready to go!

Condition notes: It's original throughout. There's wear and tear and finish weather-checking throughout the finish but none of it is all that bad except for some wear near the heel area on the back and at the sides of the heel. There are a couple small dings on the back of the neck. There's an unoriginal, added pearl dot at the fretboard extension (17th fret) which I added to conceal a small hidden screw I added during the neck reset (it helps to keep the extension set at the correct angle).
It comes with: It has a newer hard case in grey.
