1967 Guild Starfire IV XII Semihollow Electric Guitar

Overview: Do you like Starfires but want something strange and modded? This is an XII model (their 12-string version with double cutaways) but it's been modded to a 6-string format with altered headstock and tuners and an older Bigsby whammy fit to it at the tail. It's been kitted-out with a pair of Firebird-style mini-humbucker pickups (an SD at the bridge and an unmarked one at the neck) which gives it much more of a sizzle and punch than the original-style pickups would have afforded.

It's got plenty of loving wear and tear and has the look of an old buddy ready to wade-out into the riff wars. Kerrrrrrrrrrraaaawwrrrrrr! Like I said, it's fun and the neck is quick and easy.

Repairs included: Max gave it a level/dress of the frets and a setup and it's playing bang-on and ready to go.

Condition notes: The original pickups are swapped-out for more-modern mini-humbuckers ('80s?) that are also of a bygone era. The neck pickup's tone control is not really functional and can be fixed if needed, per the next owner's desires. The Bigsby tailpiece is not original. but it's older. The tuners are non-original but good quality Grovers. It has a replacement nut. The finish is scratched and worn all over the top near the pickups. There are numerous small scratches, scuffs, and tiny nicks and dings here and there throughout the guitar. The ABR-style bridge with its rosewood base is a replacement and the strap buttons are, too.

It comes with: It has an old hard case.
