1974 Martin D-35 Dreadnought Guitar

This is a local customer's nice old D-35. It needed a level/dress of the frets and a new bridge, which Ancel whipped-up custom for it, as Martin (in usual '70s fashion) had misplaced the saddle by 1/16" or so and a normal repro-style bridge would have the saddle misplaced (again) if simply fit to it. It got a fresh saddle, too, and post-repairs this guitar really kicks. It's got a ton of volume and a nice, steady, full sound that's not overly-muddy in the bass.

Per the usual, it has a solid spruce top, solid Indian rosewood back and sides, a mahogany neck, and an ebony board and bridge.
