1978 Guild F50 Jumbo Acoustic Guitar

Overview: How about this big, beautiful beastie? F50s tend to be owned by heavy-handed players or front men for acts as they like a lot of energy pushed into them and they have the looks and style to match a big personality. The big-block inlay in the fretboard and all of that multi-ply binding gives a respectable, but upscale look. Its sheer jumbo size gives it a lot of presence, too.

Anyhow, this one has some play and wear-and-tear under its belt and, post-repairs, is a good player.

Repairs included: It got a neck reset, fret level/dress, new bone saddle, and setup work. Someone else had repaired and cleated the hairline cracks on the top near the soundhole in the past. It's playing spot-on and ready to go.

The binding at the neck has a few small cracks here and there in it from shrinking/getting fragile as it ages. There's weather-checking in the top finish, especially. There's a filled strap button hole on the side near the heel.

It comes with: It has a good, old, hard case.
