2017 Epiphone ES-335 Pro Semi Hollow Electric Guitar
Overview: This is a more-recent Epiphone ES-335 and it's quite good. Copycat Gibsons have come a long way in the last 15 years and it's pretty impressive how close these import versions get to the feel and sound (if not the exact handling) of the real thing. It's set-neck, has a quick neck profile, retro-sounding humbuckers, and a weight and body cut very typical of '60s instruments I've handled. The finish, of course, is not in the same territory and the neck is more modern -- a slim D shape with a 12" radius rather than a medium C with a 10" one. Still, it's a worthy contender and... it's cherry red.
Repairs included: This just got a quick setup and minor adjustments. It's playing spot-on and ready to go.
