2024 Squier Classic Vibe Bass VI Electric 6-String Bass/Baritone Guitar

Overview: Bass VIs are quirky instruments and you need to match them with just the right amp or playing environment to make the most out of them. I don't generally like to use them as proper basses, though you can definitely plug them into a good bass amp and thump around on them just as you would on a short scale bass with a bit of extra range. I like them better used in a baritone guitar context (either in standard octave-down EADGBE or restrung with baritone BEADF#B strings), though, and put into a decent guitar amp. In this capacity they can do all sorts of interesting things -- low chordal support, deep lead lines, big heavy crunchy power chords, odd, low-pitched jazzy stuff -- deep twang surf, whatever!

This one is almost new and in good order, though when it arrived the setup (as usual) was pretty awful. It's now been adjusted and is ready to go.

Repairs included: Ancel gave it a good setup and it's playing spot-on.
