1920s Martin Style 1 Soprano Ukulele

Overview: You can't knock Martin ukes! They do a thing -- velvet and smooth and warm and sweet tone -- very well, and keep on doing it. This Style 1 (with rosewood binding) is probably a mid-late '20s affair and may have had wood friction pegs on it when made. It's been played-in and has a great, lived-in look about it. You know they're going to sound good when you see the amount of joy the instrument gave its last owner. Per the usual, the build quality is excellent and  the cut and feel of the neck is well-thought-out.

Repairs included: Jose leveled/dressed the frets, cleaned it up a bit, and set it up. It's playing spot-on and ready to go.

The outer edge of rosewood binding is missing for a small area at the lower-bout-top (pictured). The tuners are non-original. Because the saddle is lightly-shaved, it's a bright maple color (these earlier Martin ukes used stained maple saddles -- neat, huh?) instead of ebony-colored.

It comes with: It has a gigbag.
