1960s Martin Style 1 Soprano Ukulele
Overview: Here's a pretty face! Who doesn't like tortoise binding on a Martin uke? It's classy. This one has a sweet, fairly loud voice, too, with just enough sparkle to give you some swagger when you need it. It sounds lovely fingerpicked but serves beautifully as a strummer, too. Martin ukes were so well-thought-out back in the '20s that the design, essentially unchanged, worked well right through the '70s and is still extremely desirable today.
Repairs included: Jose repaired both the back cracks and a longer side crack. He then leveled and dressed the frets and gave it adjustments and setup work. It's playing spot-on and ready to go.
