1970s Fender 1030 (Harmony H165) 000-Size Guitar
Overview: This is the Fender-branded version of the venerable Harmony H165 -- a 000-size, ladder-braced guitar with solid mahogany throughout the body. The H165 is sort-of a cult favorite model and this one, having been made around 1970 (there's no legible date stamp), has an adjustable truss rod which allows for a faster, more-modern neck shape and a more stable neck to boot. It has a good, woody, even sound and great looks, especially with the Fender-style pickguard and mustache bridge shape.
Repairs included: It previously had a neck reset and level/dress of the frets. This time around it got a light bridge shave, saddle-slot recut (to put it in a better position), new bone saddle, cleaning, and setup. It's playing bang-on and ready to go.
