1970s Kamaka “White Label” Koa Soprano Ukulele
Overview: I'm a huge fan of "white label" Kamakas. We've owned a fair number now and then over the years and my wife has a pineapple-shaped '70s Kamaka that is our main-squeeze uke around the house. They're built extremely light and paper-thin in the bodies which is what give them their full, round, sparkly, clean sound. Everyone who's played one of these in the shop has more-or-less fallen in love with them. This one has that sweet, chimey sound and a good, quick feel.
Repairs included: Jose leveled/dressed the frets, cleaned it up a bit, and set it up. It's playing spot-on and ready to go.
