1996 Fender USA Stratocaster Electric Guitar
Overview: I bought this Strat off of the original owner, who'd had it since he was a youngster. It arrived barely-played and with the original protective wrap still on both the pickguard and trem-springs coverplate. It's a bit of a "time capsule" guitar and, aside from a dulled pickguard and a couple of scuffs near the endpin strap button, is very clean. It's very typical of a '90s American Strat with a 1 11/16" nut, slimmer, C-shaped neck, and an alder body. I've always liked the 2-point bridges on these and their hardened saddles -- it's a good, simple, effective design.
Repairs included: I gave it a very light level/dress of the frets, restring, and setup. It's playing spot-on and ready to go. I strung it with 9s and the whammy is set to lightly-floating.

Condition notes: The plastic hardware has darkened a hair from age and, because the cling-wrap was left on the pickguard for decades, I had to scrub adhesive/plastic gunk from the pickguard with WD40 and a little steel wool to clean it up. The pickguard is thus dulled in its finish rather than shiny. The trem coverplate is in good shape, though. There are a few scuffs (pictured) on the sides.
It comes with: It has its original, plastic-shelled, shaped hard case.
