1930s Slingerland MayBell Resonator Tenor Banjo
Overview: This has the "MayBell" branding of instruments sold by Slingerland but the banjo itself is of a style Regal made for the brand. It's a nicer-grade "student" model, with a full resonator design, simple hoop tonering, comfortable weight, and tons of volume. It looks snazzy, too, with an "alternate Vega" sort-of feel and response. It has a cool, multicolored resonator design with some green highlights on the edges and a fun decal on the back.
Repairs included: Molly leveled and dressed the frets and cleaned it up a bit. I fit it all back together, fit new Gotoh 4:1 tuners, a new bridge, and set it all up. It's playing spot-on and ready to serve.
