1950s Strad-O-Lin Archtop Mandolin
Overview: This is a no-frills, all-ply-mahogany-body, Strad-O-Lin from the mid-'50s. This is the type Sorkin marketed as their entry-level Strad for the time and it's a nice, sturdy, practical, student-model instrument. It has a poppy, direct sound and a comfy-feeling neck and would suit anyone looking for a quick-playing, retro-looking starter instrument of the bluegrassier persuasion.
Repairs included: Molly gave it a level/dress of the frets, fit the bridge a bit, and set it up
