2003 Goodall Jumbo SS Cedar/Mahogany Guitar

Overview: What an absolute gem, huh? Goodalls only grace the shop once or twice a year and usually for touring-folks getting setups or adjustments. This one, luckily-enough, was dropped-off for consignment and so we get to enjoy it for a while. It's a "small jumbo" guitar with 000-sizing but a jumbo-style outline. It's cedar over mahogany, lightly-built, and so has a big, full, even, fantastic sound about it. It has attractive details like koa binding with fine-line purfling, diamond inlay in the board, pearl in the rosette, and pearl at the headstock. The mahogany used on the back and sides has nice quilting to it, too! This one was ordered custom from the maker and so it has a nut width that's a little wider (it reminds me of old '30s Martin handling) and very-much suited to fingerpickers. It arrived here needing nothing as it has been maintained well over the years. The current owner is the second owner and the serial number points to 2003.

Repairs included: Previously, it received a bridge reglue, fretwork, and setup work. It's playing spot-on and ready to go and was dialed-in nicely when it arrived.

It comes with: It has a nice hard case in good order.
