1900s Unmarked Refinished 4/4 German Violin

Overview: There are no markings on this old fiddle but I expect it's German and from around 1900 or so. It's had a rough life and someone clumsily-refinished the whole thing and marked the top up with sanding or chisel marks. It looks like an Appalachian wall-hanging that's been resting in the same place for the last 200 years! Suffice to say, after Manny fixed it up it's a strong player with a smooth, old-fashioned sound, though it arrived in quite the state.

Repairs included: Manny did a ton of work on this one -- lots of seams got repaired, the neck got a reset, the fingerboard was planed and dressed, the bridge was fit, it got fine tuners, pegs, and a small headstock repair, and then it got cleaning and setup work. It's playing spot-on, now.

Condition notes: The finish has been mucked-up all over but, after cleaning, is at least tolerable grungy. The pegs, bridge, tailpiece, and chinrest are all unoriginal. It has a headstock/pegbox repair. The pegholes had to be filled and reamed.

It comes with: I believe this has a funky old case of some sort.
