1960s Harmony Bobkat (Refinished) Electric Guitar
Overview: Shop friend Kenji sent this one in for a possible-fix-for-me or possible-sell-for-me. It's a Bobkat from the '60s but it's been stripped and finished natural on the neck and resprayed slightly-metallic grey-black on the body. It's a good-looking guitar and darn-fun to play -- those high-output, goldfoil single-coil DeArmond pickups simply roar. They sound good clean (especially at the bridge for a twang attack) but they're some of my favorite pickups for playing dirty through -- there's not much else like them! I'd describe the sound as... springy? When you give the strings a whack the sound leaps right back at you.
Repairs included: Molly gave this a level/dress of the frets and a setup and I added a ground to the tailpiece and compensated the bridge saddle. It's playing spot-on and ready to roll.

Condition notes: Aside from the refinish work, the rest is original. We added some side dots, though, and a ground to the tailpiece and compensation of the bridge saddle. The wiring is all original otherwise. The whammy actually works just-fine but only does down-bends. The strap buttons are newer. There are a few small scratches and scuffs here and there on the body, mostly.
It comes with: It's got a gigbag.
