2000s Luthiery by the Lake 000-size 12-fret Acoustic Guitar
Overview: This odd, 000-size, 12-fret guitar was made by a small shop that caters to random, custom orders. In the case of this instrument, whoever purchased it first wanted a wide nut with and a bigger neck profile, which they got.
Soundwise, this is in the typical 12-fret, 000-size range of tone -- it's sweet and full with a lot of extra lower-mids emphasis and sweetened-highs stuff going-on. It works best as a fingerpicker but will do as a flatpicker, too, if you've got a controlled right hand (it gets a little overly-complex when just chugged chordally).
There are quirky, homebrew elements to the instrument's build and design, for sure -- it's not a perfect example of a "small shop luthier" build -- but it is fun and has a good, relaxed look about it.
Repairs included: Molly gave this a heavy-handed level/dress of the frets and a setup. It's playing bang-on and ready to go.

Condition notes: There are rougher areas of build quality on this instrument -- the neck is a bit clunky and the headstock/neck transition area definitely is. The satin finish looks fine but does have wear and tear throughout -- there are scratches, nicks, and dings here and there. The heel cap has a chipout at one edge. The fretboard has a big, filled hole at the 14th fret position where someone was trying to excavate truss rod access (I don't know why -- you can get to it from the soundhole). The fretting was pretty inaccurate (meaning, fret seating) when it arrived and so the frets are a little changeable in height after the level/dress job was done, though it plays true throughout.
It comes with: Sorry, no case.
