2016 Gibson SG Special Faded Electric Guitar

Overview: This is a pretty typical SG "Faded" -- satin finish, no-frills looks, a quick and familiar neck, retro-inspired body cut and feel -- basically a nice SG but on the simpler side in trim. It has a little light wear from play and appears to have at least a swapped bridge pickup -- looks like a DiMarzio of some sort -- and the tone of the pickups is definitely more suited to heavier genres, though I did drop them down a bit in their rings out of curiosity and they can certainly do the "jazz thing" when backed-off from the strings.

Repairs included: This arrived in good order and just needed a setup from Molly to get it playing spot-on. It's ready to serve.

Condition notes: It appears to be original throughout save for the bridge pickup which looks like a DiMarzio. It's possible the neck pickup is a replacement but I haven't pulled either to check. Curiously, I do have a pair of recent Gibson humbuckers with metal covers in my parts-bins if the next owner of this would prefer the guitar to havea more-classic look. There are light scratches here and there from mild use and a bit of pickwear on the pickguard but otherwise it looks nice!

It comes with: It has a good, hard case.
