2017 National Tricone Steel "Black Rust" Resonator Guitar
Overview: These almost-Duco-finished modern National tricones are a blend of the old Duolian-style steel body instruments with the tricone format. The weight is good, the sound is clean and sustained with good balance, and the look is killer. This particular box is almost-new and very clean. I only needed to give it a glorified setup to get it playing well.
Repairs included: I gave it a good setup, compensated the saddle, and set the cones on the interior so they'll stay put if you accidentlly pull all the strings at once -- normal stuff we do when newer Nationals come in. It's playing bang-on and ready to go.
