2020s Boucher Private Stock HG-166 000-Size Guitar

Overview: Boucher guitars are tip-top, Canadian-made instruments. This one is a "Heritage Goose" 000-size, 12-fret model in "Private Stock" format with fancier-than-normal flamed maple in the back and sides, a torrefied-spruce top, diamond inlay in the board, and spiffed-up Schaller tuners. I imagine the "HG-166" model number suggests that it's a fancier version of the normal HG-66 model. It's also got a K&K Pure Mini pickup installed and herringbone trim. It's a looker!

It's a quick-playing instrument with a comfy neck and a sound that flits between an old Martin 000-12 fret personality and something like a good Gibson L flattop with maple back and sides. It's balanced, warm-sounding, responsive, and full in tone but not overly complex. It's just about perfect for a fingerpicker.

Repairs included: Jose just gave this guitar the slightest adjustments to setup. It's playing spot-on and ready to serve.

It comes with: It has a nice hard case.
