1980s Iliturgitana Spanish Classical Guitar

Overview: This guitar was traded-in years ago to pay for repairs on a different instrument (or several instruments, I can't remember!) and I completely forgot about it. Flash-forward to the dark hours of this winter and I scrounged it up for Molly to work on. I'm glad I did, though, because it turned-out terrific after repairs -- clean, full, forward, and snappy in sound and with a nice, mellow, aged look.

It's a Spanish-made guitar and the firm who built it seems to have been known more for their flamenco-style guitars. That seems to hold water, as it's got that aesthetic and the mahogany back and sides (as compared to, say, rosewood or maple), seems a lean in that direction. It's solid-wood throughout, too.

This one sold in-shop before I even got to post it up here -- a local lady with a birthday picked it up for herself -- yip!

Repairs included: It got a level/dress of the frets, side dots, a new saddle/bridge shave, cleaning, and setup work. It's playing spot-on and ready to go.
