2010s Fender USA Stratocaster Mark Knopfler Signature Electric Guitar

This is a recent Mark Knopfler Signature Strat in Fiesta Red and with a mint pickguard. I've always loved the look of that color combo. It feels and sounds very '60s in nature, with "home base"-sounding, clean and clear pickups and a curvy neck profile.

Said neck had some severe problems -- a big upbow at the heel area -- and it was bad-enough that it necessitated a full board plane and refret, which Jose performed beautifully using taller/bigger frets -- he really did a superlative job on this one.

It now plays like a gem and is ready for the road.
