1930s Regal All-Birch Size 5 Tenor Guitar (No 2)

Overview: This cute old size 5 Regal tenor is of the all-birch persuasion in its body and, as a result, it's got a little more woody punch and clarity compared to the similar models with spruce tops instead. This is ideal if you like a little more focus to your sound. It's also in relatively great shape for a student-level instrument from the time, save that Mr. Garry Collins scratched his name into the top at some point (see the pics). Note that the "binding" is painted-on trim in the same fashion as Harmony boxes from the time.

Repairs included: Tim gave it a neck reset and either Jose or Jacobi leveled and dressed the frets, added side dots, cleaned it up, and set it up. Some seams may have been repaied at some point. It's playing spot-on and ready to serve.

Someone added odd side dots that project a bit from the side of the board but they're cool enough that we left them.
