2010s Waterloo WL-14 X-Braced Acoustic Guitar

Overview: This Waterloo WL-14 has all of the appointments you'd want to make it a good L-00 replacement. It's x-braced, has a big old '30s V-shaped neck profile, an adjustable truss rod (access through the soundhole), and Collings build quality. It sounds an awful lot like a nice old L-00, too, save that it's perhaps a hair drier in tone and a little louder than most L-00s coming through the shop.

This one arrived for consignment via a friend of a friend and it needed almost nothing to get it ready for sale -- I think I tweaked the truss rod and adjusted the saddle just a tiny bit and it was ready for the racks. It has a K&K pickup installed, too, so it's ready for gigging life. This guitar might be younger than the 2010s, but its low serialization suggests it's an earlier Waterloo.

Repairs included: I gave it a quick setup. It's playing spot-on and ready to go.

Condition notes: It's mostly quite clean though there is a good-sized ding at the top of the headstock's face and mild usewear (very light scratching and pickwear) here and there throughout. There's a tiny bit of fretwear in first position but not enough to bother leveling and dressing out (which we do as standard practice on most stuff that arrives for sale).

It comes with: It has its (presumably-original) hard case.
