1973 Harmony H6395 000-Size Acoustic Guitar
Overview: This H6395 is like a latter-era version of the H1203 Sovereign except with different back and sides and a thinner, faster neck profile. It's ladder-braced and has a bluesy quality to it that sounds excellent fingerpicked but is a little more lackluster as a flatpicked strummer. It's direct and barky. I do like that faster neck and it does have the advantage of an adjustable plastic saddle, though adjustments to its height should be done with string tension slacked to avoid splitting it or stripping the adjuster screws.
Repairs included: I reset the neck, replaced the headstock veneer, leveled and dressed the frets, recut the saddle for better compensation, cleaned it up, and set it up. It's playing spot-on and ready to go.
