1900s Maurer (Larson) Parlor Guitar

This is a spruce-over-mahogany, ladder-braced guitar with the Larson Brothers' "Maurer" branding stamped in the soundhole. It's had some funky refinish work done and the tuners, pins, saddle, and endpin are definitely not original. It has a great, warm-but-clean, refined sort-of sound about it and a wide old neck profile with a light radius to the board.

Ancel did a ton of good work on this one -- a neck reset, pinhole fill/redrill and saddle-slot fill/recut at the bridge, fretwork, cleats for cracks, and all sorts of stuff -- and now it's playing bang-on and ready to go. We've strung it with 10s as the top bracing is on the light side, even though the neck is pretty hefty.
